Historical data comes with its own software so you can mange the formats, directories and amount of History to load.

CHANGE THE DATA DIRECTORY/S

     
  Bodhi5 Users

If you are a Bodhi5 user you do not have to make a selection as Bodhi History will read your configuration files and only load the data you have selected into the formats and directories you specified. Simply choose "Yes" when you are asked to use your Bodhi5 settings.

If you have chosen not to use your Bodhi5 settings you may need to change the default directories. You will also need to make a selection from the Bodhi History menu.

By default Bodhi History processes its information to the following directories.

c:\Data\BodhiOne\%Source%\Stocks

Market Analyst c:\Data\Market Analyst\%Source%
MetaStock c:\Data\MetaStock\%Source%
UltraEzy c:\Data\UltraEzy\%Source%

You only need to change these directories if you have installed your Charting Package to either a different disk drive (i.e. d: instead of c:) or you want your data going to a different directory (i.e. c:\ms\data).

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a subscriber of our Bodhi5 software, you must choose the same directory structure or the data files will not update.

Changing directories in Bodhi History
The instructions below will show you how to make a universal change to the disk drive and how to modify individual directories.

    Changing to a different disk drive
  1. Click the Custom button.

  2. The Distribution window appears.
  3. Click on Path>Drive.

  4. Type in the letter of your disk drive (i.e. D).
  5. Press the OK button.
  6. All the directories will now change to the drive you indicated.

  7. Close the Distribution window by pressing the [x].

    Changing to a different directory
  1. Click the Custom button.

  2. The Distribution window appears.
  3. Click on the directory you wish to change (so it is highlighted).
  4. Click on Path>Modify.
  5. Type the new directory in the Modify Path box.

  6. Click OK.
  7. This directory will now change in the list.
  8. Close the Distribution window by pressing the [x].

MetaStock Users: The Bodhi5 - MetaStock format, is limited to 6000 files per sub-directory. This means that when you create a directory a number will automatically append to the end. Bodhi5 directories start from 0 (i.e. c:\Data\MetaStock\ASX0; ASX1; ASX2 etc.).
