VIEW SIMPLE CHARTS

These instructions will explain how you can open a basic chart in Bodhi5. The purpose of this feature is simply to display a chart. It will not do any complex charting or technical analysis. If you require a more in depth charting program you may be interested in other software, such as EzyChart.

There are two ways you can open a chart in Bodhi5.

Opening a chart from a Watch or Portfolio list
If you have created Watch lists or Portfolio lists you can open a chart directly from the front page. If you don't know how to create these lists, refer to these instructions:
  1. Open Bodhi5. The Watch and Portfolio lists display on the startup screen.

    Bodhi5: Watch List

  2. Click on either a Watch or Portfolio tab to make it active.
  3. Locate the symbol for the chart you want to view and click on it so it is highlighted. Then right-click on it and select Chart from the drop-down box.

    Bodhi5: View Chart

  4. The following chart screen will display:

    Bodhi5: ANZ Bank Chart

At the top of the screen you will see the format tab. If you download to multiple formats or you update this symbol to numerous directories you will have a chart for each one.
Please Note: these charts may look different due to some formats having padded data and depending on the events settings you have chosen for each directory.

Using this method you can view charts on any symbols trading on any exchange not just the ones in your Watch or Portfolio lists. In this example we will open the chart for symbol: BSL trading on the Australian Securities Exchange.

  1. Open Bodhi5 and click on the Configure button to display the Configuration screen.

    Bodhi5: Select Equity
