Scanning using a selection of shares

Description
When you've created your systems you can choose to scan them over your entire database or specify a list of symbols. These symbols could be a personal watchlist or the shares that make up the Top 100 or a particular sector.

To add filtering to a scan, do the following:
  1. Open ScanVest 2.
  2. Go to Edit>Scan.
  3. Select the scan that you want to filter from the drop-down box.
  4. Click on the Filter tab.
  5. Select the filtering you want to apply to this scan from this list:
» Entering one or two shares into the Symbol filter
» Creating a list of shares to filter (i.e. Watchlist)
» Scanning symbols from a sector (i.e. Energy)
» Scanning the Top 100 symbols

You could now use the Market filter to limit the scan to a particular market (e.g. Equities) or the Source filter to scan data from a particular exchange (e.g. Australian Stock Exchange).
Generally you would use a combination of all stages for example to scan the top 500 equities in the ASX you would set the following:
Source: =ASX
Market: =EQ
Ranked: <0501
