The search engine consists of 3 tabs:

• Symbol » allows you to search for a particular symbol (ie. BHP).
• Called » allows you to search for a company name (ie. BHP Billiton).
• Sector » allows you to search for the constituents of a sector (ie. Material Sector).

Each of these three tabs allow you to limit the list further by using the following filtering options:

• Region » allows you to search on a chosen Country (i.e. Australia, United States etc.).
• Source » allows you to search on a chosen Exchange (i.e. Australian Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange etc.).
• Market » allows you to search on a chosen Instrument (i.e. Equity, Option etc.).
• GICS/MSCI » allows you to choose between the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) or the Morgan Stanley Classification (MSCI). This option is only available through the Sector tab.

After you've selected the tab, added the filtering you require and entered the information you want to search for, you then have the choice of where you want your information matched.

• Any of the field » this will find your selection in any part of the field.
• All of the field » this will apply your selection to the entire field.
• Start of the field » this will look for your selection at the beginning of the field.
• End of the field » this will look for your selection at the end of the field.

• Find a symbol that begins with the letters 'BIL'
• Find symbols that have the word 'banking' in their name
• Find Exchanges that have the code 'BHP'
• Find 'Low Exercise Price Options' symbols
• Find all the ASX symbols that make-up the Materials Sector
• Find all the Oil Futures BodhiGold supplies

Find a symbol that begins with the letters 'BIL'

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Finance.
3. Click on the Symbol tab.
   

4. In the For box type: BIL then select Start of field from the Match drop-down box.
5. Click the Search button.
6. BodhiGold will search for any symbol on any exchange that begins with the letters BIL.

Find symbols that have the word 'banking' in their name

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Finance.
3. Click on the Called tab.
   

4. In the For box type: Banking then select Any of field from the Match drop-down box.
5. Click the Search button.
6. BodhiGold will search for any symbol on any exchange that has the word 'Banking' in its name.

Find Exchanges that have the code 'BHP'

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Finance.
3. Click on the Symbol tab.
   

4. In the For box type: BHP then select All of field from the Match drop-down box.
5. Click the Search button.
6. BodhiGold will search for any symbol on any exchange that has the code BHP.

Find 'Low Exercise Price Options' symbols

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Finance.
3. Click on the Called tab.
   

4. In the For box type: LEPO then select End of field from the Match drop-down box.
5. Click the Search button.
6. BodhiGold will search for any symbol on any exchange that has the word 'LEPO' at the end of its name.

Find all the ASX Equity symbols that make-up the GICS Materials Sector

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Finance.
3. Click on the Sector tab.
4. Select Australian Stock Exchange from the All Sources drop-down box, then select Equity from the All Markets drop-down box.
   

5. In the For: box select GICS1 from the second drop-down box then Materials from the first drop-down box.
6. Click the Search button.
7. BodhiGold will search for all ASX Equity symbols that are a member of the GICS Materials sector.

Find all the Oil Futures BodhiGold supplies

1. Open BodhiGold.
2. Go to File>Search>Commod.
3. Click on the Called tab.
   

4. In the For box type: Oil then select Any of field from the Match drop-down box.
5. Click the Search button.
6. BodhiGold will search for any commodity on any futures exchange that has the word 'Oil' in its name.
