| Valuable information in the Monitor |

A number of events happen when BodhiGold exports information. These can include the addition of new symbols; the deletion of old symbols and the adjustment of historical prices due to share splits, reconstructions etc.
These events are applied automatically by BodhiGold and in most cases without the user even knowing it has occurred.
You can find out what events have taken place by using the Monitor. To open the Monitor click on Monitor from the View menu in the main screen of BodhiGold.
The Monitor dialog box consists of three sections:
- Product & Date » this is where you choose the product you want and the days information you want to view. You make these selections by clicking on the appropriate drop-down box. You first select which Module you require then the Exchange then the Date.
- Market » choose the type of Market information you wish to view by clicking on the appropriate tab.
- Information » this is where you choose the information you want displayed in the matrix.
You have five choices:
- Compared » this tab shows you today's closing price of each symbol (that has traded) and the percentage change. You can also compare these figures to other dates by right-clicking on the 'change' box and entering the date.
The graphic below shows that BHP closed at $21.50 on the 01/12/2005 which was down by 1.692% from the previous trading date. However, it shows that this price is up 1.8475% from the closing price on 10/11/2005.
- Included » displays all new issues.
- Updated » displays any new fundamental information. This can include: name changes; shares on issue; sector; dividends per share; earnings per share etc.
- Modified » displays any code changes; dividends and reconstructions that have occurred. Whether these have been applied to your database will depend on your settings in the BodhiGold Edit>Options>General>Adjust for Events menu.
- Delisted » displays any expired symbols.
