The BodhiOne format uses the following default directories:
• c:\My Databases\BodhiOne\%Source%\Stocks => If you are downloading information from the ASX, this directory will contain any equity and/or index symbols you choose (ie. BHP, CBAWMJ and/or XJO etc.).
• c:\My Databases\BodhiOne\%Source%\Options => If you are downloading information from the ASX, this directory will contain any Exchange Traded option symbols you choose (ie. BHPJQ and/or BHPYP etc.).

  The %Source% is a wildcard and will be replaced with the 3 letter Exchange Code of any Exchange data you download. This ensures that the symbols for each exchange are kept separate which stops any incorrect data being written into instruments which have the same symbol.

These directories will ony be created if you have selected symbols that fit their criteria. Note: Directories are created automatically on your first download.

Configure BodhiGold for Insight Trader
1. Start BodhiGold, by doing the following:
   Start > Programs > Infosoft > BodhiGold > Freeway
2. Select your closest Region from the drop-down box, then click x.
3. Select your Nearest city from the drop-down box, then click x.
4. Select your Charting Software - Insight Trader from the drop-down box, then click x. This automatically chooses the BodhiOne format.
5. A dialog box will appear explaining how BodhiGold has been setup. This box includes information on your location, data selection, charting software and database directories. Take note of this information.
6. Click OK to test the software.
7. The registration screen will appear. At the bottom of this screen it will tell you how many days you have left to trial the software. If you have purchased the software, email or telephone (07 3821 5177) JustData with the Installation Code. You will then be given your personalised Registration User and Code. Exit the screen by clicking the x.
8. Click the Configure button.
9. The following instructions will show you how to fetch up to 6-months historical data:
   1. Click on the + next to Australia.
   2. Click on the + next to Australian Stock Exchange.
   3. Click on Equity.
   4. Put the Imported and Exported dates back 6-months.
   5. Exit the Product Manager screen.
10. Exit the Module Manager screen.
11. Connect to the Internet then click the Catchup button. BodhiGold will now download and export the last 6-months of data to your hard drive (c:\My Databases\BodhiOne\%Source%\Stocks).
    Congratulations, you have successfully configured BodhiGold and imported 6-months of data into a BodhiOne format. From now on, you will only need to press the Catchup button in BodhiGold each night to retrieve the latest data. The free trial will run for 32-days after installation.

Installing Insight Trader
1. Put the Insight Trader disk into your CD drive. The installation should commence automatically. If it doesn't, open Windows Explorer and double-click on the setup.exe icon in the _SETUP folder on the CD.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts (accepting the defaults) until the Insight Trader installation is complete.
3. Double-click on the WinIT32 icon.
4. Enter the Initial Registration Number supplied with this software, then click OK. This number will make the software operational for 2 months. Complete the license agreement and return it to Insight Trading to receive a permanent registration number.

Configure Insight Trader to open BodhiOne files
1. You must now log on to the 'stem' directory of your BodhiOne ASX database (i.e. the directory just below the one(s) where the individual data files are stored). Please Note: only IT versions higher than 11.5 will read BodhiOne files. To do this, do the following:
   1. Go to Format>Preferences.
   2. In the box labelled Path for configuration and data files, enter the default ASX directory - c:\My Databases\BodhiOne\ASX
   3. Specify that the stock prices are in dollars and volume in 1's.

      

   4. Click OK to accept this directory.
   5. Click Yes to establish it as an IT directory.
   6. Click OK to close the dialog box.
   7. Click Yes to save the configuration.
2. If you want to log on to other Stockmarket Databases (i.e. c:\My Databases\BodhiOne\LSE) then follow Step 1 for each new database.
3. You will be told there is no resident file for the other directories. If this occurs, enter the following defaults when prompted for the different Market groups:

   In future any of these directories can be easily accessed instantaneously by using the New directory toolbar button (no 11) and double-clicking on the directory required.

Adjusting your ASX Database with the IT ASX Database Manager
1. From the main menu, click on Utilities>Database Manager.
2. Click the first toolbar button to configure and then check the option Database is in dollars rather than cents.
3. For Path of ASX Directory to Convert type in the path of the Bodhi ASX directory eg: C:\My Databases\BodhiOne\ASX.
4. Leave the other options as they are and click OK to close the dialog and then click on the Go button on the main toolbar and your database will be adjusted and the fundamental information installed. When completed exit Database Manager.

   On future occasions you can update your Database Manager directly through the Internet simply by clicking on the Utilities>Update from web option from the main Insight Trader menu. This can be performed once a week any time after every Monday evening when the changes are usually posted and may be conveniently done while you are on the Internet for some other purpose.
