These instructions will take you through two processes:
• Configuring BodhiGold to use the Market Analyst data format.
• Configuring Guppytraders-Essentials to read the BodhiGold Market Analyst directories.

Configure BodhiGold for Guppytraders-Essentials
1. Start BodhiGold, by doing the following:
   Start > Programs > Infosoft > BodhiGold > Freeway
2. Select your closest Region from the drop-down box, then click x.
3. Select your Nearest city from the drop-down box, then click x.
4. Select your Charting Software - Market Analyst from the drop-down box, then click x.
5. A dialog box will appear explaining how BodhiGold has been setup. This box includes information on your location, data selection, charting software and database directories. Take note of this information.
6. Click OK to test the software.
7. The registration screen will appear. At the bottom of this screen it will tell you how many days you have left to trial the software. If you have purchased the software, email or telephone (07 3821 5177) JustData with the Installation Code. You will then be given your personalised Registration User and Code. Exit the screen by clicking the x.
8. Click the Configure button. The Market Analyst format should be selected.
   

9. Right-click over the words DEFAULT Distribution, then select the Manager button. The Profile Manager will appear.
10. From the DEFAULT drop-down box select ANALYST. Click OK to the Warning message.
    

11. The Analyst distribution is configured to copy data into the following directory structure: c:\My Databases\Market Analyst\%Source%\A to Z.
    %Source% = the 3-letter Exchange identifier (ie. ASX for the Australian Stock Exchange).
    A to Z directories filter symbols by their Exchange code (ie. CBA into the C directory for Commonwealth Bank).
    This configuration is necessary if you plan to use the Scanner software supplied with Guppytraders-Essentials and Market Analyst.
    

12. Exit the Profile Manager by clicking the x.
13. The following instructions will show you how to fetch up to 6-months historical data:
    1. Click on the + next to Australia.
    2. Click on the + next to Australian Stock Exchange.
    3. Click on Equity.
    4. Put the Imported and Exported dates back 6-months.
    5. Exit the Product Manager screen.
14. Exit the Module Manager screen.
15. Connect to the Internet then click the Catchup button. BodhiGold will now download and export the last 6-months of data to your hard drive (c:\My Databases\Market Analyst\%Source%\A to Z).
    Congratulations, you have successfully configured BodhiGold and imported 6-months of data into a Market Analyst format. From now on, you will only need to press the Catchup button in BodhiGold each night to retrieve the latest data. The free trial will run for 32-days after installation.

Configure Guppytraders-Essentials for BodhiGold
1. Open Guppytraders-Essentials or Market Analyst.
2. Exit the Welcome screen by clicking the x.
   

3. Click on the Search button (magnifying glass) to scan your hard drive for compatible directories.
   

4. Click the Search Disk button to begin the scan. All directories on your hard drive will be scanned to find compatible formats (ie. Market Analyst; MetaStock, Ascii).
   

5. When the scan is finished, your Market Analyst databases will be displayed.
   

6. Select one of the directories (i.e. c:\My Databases\Market Analyst\ASX\A. All the symbols available in that directory will be displayed.
   

7. Double-click on a symbol to open a chart.
