Bodhi Freeway is compatible with the GICS Level 1 & 2 sectors. These sectors were created and are maintained by Standard & Poors. In April every year, S&P revue this classification and make changes to it. These changes can include adding new sectors, changing sector names and deleting non-performing sectors. Included in this years changes was a name change for a Level 2 sector. This sector (2530) was previously called: Hotels Restaurants & Leisure and is now called: Consumer Services.
We have added this change to all new versions of Bodhi Freeway. However if you currently have Bodhi Freeway installed, this information will not be changed as it will stop your old directory (Hotels Restaurants & Leisure) from being updated. If you want to apply this change of name to your database/s, follow the instructions below.

To change this sector name, please do the following:
- Download this file and copy it into your c:\Program Files\Infosoft\Bodhi3\Text directory, overwriting the current file.
- Using Windows® File Explorer, rename your GICS Level 2 database directory/s from \Hotels Restaurants & Leisure to \Consumer Services.
(For example: c:\My Databases\MetaStock\GICS2\Hotels Restaurants & Leisure to c:\My Databases\MetaStock\GICS2\Consumer Services).
- Open Bodhi Freeway.
- Click on the Configure button.
- Right-click over the word: Distribution. Then click the Manager button.
- In the directory list, locate any directories that end in: Hotels Restaurants & Leisure. Select the first one, so it is highlighted.
- Go to Path>Edit.
- Delete the words: Hotels Restaurants & Leisure then add: Consumer Services.
- Click OK, this change is now made.
- Follow steps 6 to 9 for all other Hotels Restaurants & Leisure directories you have in your list.
Please Note: If you have installed a new version of Bodhi Freeway onto a new computer and you are copying over backed up history, you will probably need to only follow step 2 of the instructions above.
