Leon Wilson
Leon Wilson is the author of the highly respected books "The Business of Share Trading" and "The Next Step to Share Trading Success". He is also a contributing author for Daryl Guppy's weekly newsletter and
Your Trading Edge. He publishes a weekly discussion papaer and is one of the few active traders that discusses trading on both daily and weekly time frames. All discussions are supported with in-depth results where possible. Leon publishes a range of market summaries for both local and international markets with underlying strength being the core focus.
Leon is responsible for a number of everyday trading tools which many now take for granted, such as the ATR safety net, GMMACD, Minimum entry technique, directional index, relative% and ROC parabolic trailing stops, just to name a few. The majority of these tools and strategies have since been adapted by programmes such as BullCharts and Daryl Guppy's new software package which incorporates Leon's parabolic analysis techniques.
Leon's primary focus is position trading whereby he applies 3 core strategies, Initial, High, Initial High on Volatility and Symmetric Momentum. The initial high concept has become an increasingly popular technique with a number of traders. The other core techniques have only been openly discussed in more recent times due to the level of interest in the original initial high technique.
Due to the number of requests, Leon has decided to hold a series of one-day workshops in order to discuss all three techniques in more detail in what will be an interesting and beneficial day for all who attend.
