Requirements

ScanVest requires a BodhiOne formatted database to run. This format is supported in BodhiGold and Bodhi Freeway software.

There are four (4) important reason why this format is used in ScanVest:

Adjustments: these are not automatically applied to this database but are instead stored in a different file that can be accessed by ScanVest. This gives the user the ability to create scans using either adjusted or unadjusted data. Also, you can choose exactly which adjustments you want to use - refer to: Choosing Events

Fundamentals: BodhiOne is the only format that stores fundamental information. All other formats (ie. MetaStock) only contain trade information (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume prices). The BodhiOne format stores trade, event, quote and issue information. This gives ScanVest users the ability to create more comprehensive scans testing on technical, fundamental and statistical information.
Data Padding: this is not automatically applied to the database so you can scan on both padded data or non-padded data - refer to: Padded data.
Total Control: The BodhiOne format was developed by our programmers. This means we have a complete understanding of the format and the ability to upgrade it with extra fields when required.

Hardware	- IBM PC or compatible Pentium I 133Mhz - RAM: 64Mb or more - Hard Disk: 2Mb to install this software. More for downloading and storing historical data and saving scans. - Microsoft® compatible Mouse - Modem/Cable/ADSL to download data from BodhiGold. - SuperVGA graphics with resolutions 800x600, 256 Colours
Optional	- Charting software (GTE, Insight Trader, MetaStock etc.).
