BodhiGold5
JustData's new release
All beta testing is progressing well and we expect a full release on the 1st July.
BodhiGold5 is the next generation of data downloading software. Its capabilities and user friendliness are second to none and still with the flexibility to set-up any directory structure you require and in every major data format.
New capabilities include:
- For MetaStock users you can update to any folder limit including 6000 files. Meaning the data can be in a single directory rather than split into A- Z.
- Update GICs sectors simply by ticking the GICs directory.
- Update 'set lists' of data simply by ticking the list/s you want to update. An example of lists available for the ASX include stocks making up the All Ords Index; S&P Top 20, 50, 100 etc., Warrants Underlying equities… and many more. All these lists are kept up-to-date automatically.
- You can create a Watch list of your favourite stocks that show you last price, % change, Dividend yield, earnings per share and the sector. It can even display charts.
- Ability for your existing History to automatically filter into any newly created directory; list and even a different format. On all previous versions of Bodhi this would require a new Hist CD.
- Computers are notorious for crashing at the most inopportune times. BodhiGold5 has a backup feature that not only reminds you to backup your data and your settings but it is as easy as clicking on a backup button which does it all for you.
- BodhiGold5 has 3 servers that automatically switch from one to another if one goes down. Giving you peace of mind that the data will always be available.
We are very excited about the new BodhiGold5 and know when you use it you will wonder how you ever got along without it.
Upgrading to BodhiGold5 from any early version of Bodhi is easy. On installation it will ask you if you want to copy your original Bodhi settings. All you do is answer yes for BodhiGold5 to copy your current configuration.

The cornerstone of my 'Next Step' trading course is the understanding of financial markets as complex adaptive systems. From this perspective, traders have a far better appreciation of which trading tactics are suited to which market conditions.
The stock market is a network of interactions that has certain characteristics that are indicative of other complex systems that exist in nature.
Based on these characteristics, current market phases and trends can be identified and traded using techniques best suited to that phase.
These phases often have long time frames (years) and sometimes the next phase can be anticipated.
